Also continue to work on your thumbnail.. low res, simple, and grayscale value, although you can work in color if you are feeling confident about that.

Do a cloth or hair study. You can do a still life with cloth or a wig.  Or you can use a photo for a hair study, but life is always preferable.

week 3 face swap



For homework:
Find a photo of a face. Paint the face as it appears. Do as much as possible without using the eyedropper.
Then using a mirror,  use your own face as a reference first to mimic the expression from the photo, and then to alter it.
